Curious why Kohl’s offers the Kohl’s Cares merchandise program? It’s because the $5 books and $5 toys help so many families - all across the country. Our Kohl’s Cares merchandise program is the primary funding source for our nonprofit partnerships nationwide. With the help of our customers, we raise nearly $20 million each year and nearly $300 million since 2000.

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin is one of several hospitals and nonprofit organizations that Kohl’s supports through this program. The hospital created the Kohl’s Cares Grow Safe & Healthy Program, an injury prevention program that educates families how stay safe in the home, outdoors and on the go. Topics like preventing: burns, falls, sports injuries and seasonal injuries are covered. Through the program, the hospital estimates it has reached more than 4 million families since 2013.

Our customers support this cause by purchasing pieces from the collections. The new Kohl’s Cares holiday collection is available now at Kohl’s stores nationwide and on Kohls.com through December 27. Each piece is priced at $5, with 100 percent of the net profit donated to support children’s initiatives nationwide.
