Modernized Store Experience Reflects Kohl’s Strategy to Become the Trusted Retailer for the Active and Casual Lifestyle

Get ready for a new Kohl’s experience. With the entrance of the Sephora at Kohl’s, which is rolling out in 400 more locations this year, Kohl’s is getting a refresh. 

The addition of the 2,500 square foot, fully immersive beauty experience paved the way for Kohl’s to completely reimagine and modernize the look and feel of the store for its shoppers. Customers will notice that certain categories like active and casual have been expanded and moved to the front of the store to reflect Kohl’s focus on catering to the active and casual lifestyle. The addition of modern fixtures and the expansion of aisle space also makes the shopping experience more welcoming and efficient. 

Kohl’s has also created a space directly adjacent to Sephora to highlight seasonally relevant and new-to-Kohl’s brands like Draper James RSVP and Calvin Klein to inspire brand discovery within the store. Other enhancements include the addition of size and skin tone diverse mannequins and store conveniences like self-pickup and self-return, which complement other services such as Buy Online, Pick Up in Store (BOPUS) and Drive Up. 

So far, these refreshed stores with the addition of Sephora at Kohl’s are driving impressive results for the company. In addition to Sephora sales, customers are also shopping across the store from other categories including women’s, active and accessories. Top selling Sephora at Kohl’s brands include Sephora Collection, NARS, Fenty Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury, OLAPLEX, and Too Faced.
