Kohl’s Makes Holiday Returns Easy and Convenient
Standard Kohl’s Returns
If you need a different size or want to make a return on a gift, Kohl’s Return Policy makes it easy and convenient for returns or exchanges.
Kohl’s will accept most returns on items purchased in-store and on Kohls.com for up to 180 days after the original purchase date, with or without a receipt.
Return Exceptions:
Returning premium electronics and watches must be within 30 days of purchase with the original packaging and a valid receipt or account/tender lookup.
Beauty Purchases (including Sephora at Kohl's) must be new or in gently used condition and returned within 60 days from the date of purchase with a valid receipt or account/tender lookup. Sephora marked final sale products cannot be returned.
There is an exception to the 30-day and 60-day policy during the Holiday season. Premium electronics, watches, and Sephora at Kohl's item(s) purchased after 11/1 can be returned until 1/31.
Returns Without a Receipt
Our stores can help locate the original purchase to process a refund. If we cannot find your purchase, you may still return the items as a non-receipted return. Additional processing may be required. We may ask for a valid ID, so please have one handy just in case.
Gifted items: Items returned with a Gift Receipt will receive a Kohl’s Merchandise Credit based on the lowest discounted 13-week sale price for the item(s) you are returning or be eligible for an even exchange.
In-store purchases: Items purchased in-store must be returned to a Kohl’s store. We’re unable to process mail returns for in-store purchases. Customers can visit Customer Service with the original receipt, or an associate can look up the customer’s original tender/account information to receive a refund or an even exchange.
Online purchases: Items purchased on Kohls.com can be returned at any Kohl’s store location or by returning the items via mail.
Amazon Returns
Customers can also visit their local Kohl’s store to return eligible Amazon items without a box or label for a free return. Kohl’s will package and send returned items to Amazon returns centers on the customer’s behalf. Amazon Returns are now accepted at all Kohl’s stores (excluding Anchorage, Alaska).
