Kohl’s opens Milwaukee store, brings shopping conveniences to Milwaukee’s city center amid downtown revitalization
Kohl's, the Wisconsin-based retailer, has officially opened for business in downtown Milwaukee. Stepping into the historic anchor space in The Avenue Mall, Kohl’s new store will offer downtown shoppers a convenient destination for top apparel and beauty brands, home solutions, and incredible, everyday value that Kohl’s is known for.
Welcome to Kohl’s Downtown Milwaukee Store
Kohl’s new store is distinctly unique to Milwaukee. Connected to the city’s one-of-a-kind Third Street Market Hall food court, the store features massive display windows, an open shopping concept for easy navigation, and blends the location’s historic characteristics with Kohl’s modern touches.
In addition to a full-sized, 2,500 square foot Sephora at the front of the store housing the best prestige beauty brands across makeup, fragrance, haircare, and skincare, Kohl’s downtown Milwaukee store will also boast a curated selection of apparel from Kohl’s top national and private-label brands, home solutions from bedding to small kitchen appliances, and other convenient gifting and impulse items that downtown shoppers will be looking for. The assortment will also feature a localized assortment of Milwaukee products from brands including MKE Home and Home by Homefield, as well as team apparel from some of Wisconsin’s beloved sports teams.
Other conveniences the store will have available include self-checkout, self-pick up for online orders and Amazon Returns.
Milwaukee Store Part of Kohl’s Larger Growth Plans
The addition of Kohl’s Milwaukee location is just one of five new stores opening across the country this fall, including stores in Katy, Texas; Forney, Texas; Garden City, Kan.; and Madison, Ind. The new stores are a part of Kohl’s larger plan to capitalize on store growth opportunities over the long-term.
